Clergy Trauma Training and Support |

To support the Clergy Trauma Training and Support project to establish a supportive network of interdenominational clergy and mental health professionals who work with traumatized people. The project aims to provide a forum and structure to train clergy to deal effectively with victims of trauma and to foster a common language to discuss the clinical and spiritual issues involved; to build a system of support, supervision and safety for clergy as they confront horrific experiences within their communities; and to allow clergy to offer ways for mental health professionals to become comfortable working with theological issues that are embedded in traumatic experience.
