To support the Religious Pluralism and Environmental Protection Initiatives project, which aims to promote the development of a pluralistic and tolerant Israeli culture that is inclusive of diverse approaches to Judaism and Jewish identity. The grant will enable the New Israel Fund to foster diverse expressions of Jewish identity and practice; strengthen liberal elements within Orthodox Judaism; support Israelis seeking to change the legal structure that limits religious freedom; ensure participation of Russian and Ethiopian immigrants in spiritual life; and advance freedom of choice in marriage.
