For general support to establish a museum and learning center about the Civil War's causes, conduct, and consequences. By weaving together the viewpoints and stories of the war's major stakeholders, the Union, the Confederate, and African-Americans, into a single comprehensive narrative, the museum will examine how the Civil War transformed America politically, legally, socially and economically.
