To support the Midwest Immigrant and Human Rights Center (MIHRC), a provider of comprehensive immigration legal services to impoverished immigrants, refugees and asylum-seekers for little or no cost. This grant will allow MIHRC to maintain its political asylum project for women and girls fleeing gender-related persecution and expand its advocacy for and legal services to women and girls who have been trafficked into the United States for purposes of prostitution, indentured servitude and slavery.
