Presidential Authority Grant
To support the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a research initiative to inform the investment community, corporations and public about the potential impact that reducing carbon emissions, a major cause of global climate change, will have on shareholder values. The CDP surveyed 500 of the world's largest corporations to measure the extent of their emissions and to quantify related operating and financial risks. The CDP will disseminate the report to institutional investors, corporations, governments, scientists, and nongovernmental organizations.
