To support the Expanding Nationwide Health Coverage for Low-Income Families project to coordinate the activities of a broad consortium of organizations committed to strengthening the interest of opinion leaders, policymakers and public interest organizations in expanding health care coverage for low-income, uninsured families and individuals. Its strategy is to focus significant public attention on the increasing problem of health access through the effective use of media outreach methodologies. The project will also undertake public education efforts designed to inform policymakers, opinion leaders and the public about the impact on health access of health care proposals under debate.
