To support the Rockwood Leadership Program - Leadership Training for the Next Generation of Jewish Social Change Leaders project. It is a retreat-based program for 30 emerging Jewish social justice leaders working within the Jewish community in social change or religious organizations or in secular social justice organizations. This four-day training brings them the most current thinking in the leadership training fields, with attention to developing a personal vision and acquiring specific skills, such as coaching, strategic planning, and coalition building. At the conclusion participants will have valuable skills and models for approaching their work with greater personal capacity, sustainability, and mindfulness. The retreat will be followed by a highly targeted series of post-training coaching and mentoring. The goal of this program is to provide skills and competencies that enable a more effective and collaborative leadership model for Jewish social justice activists and the formation of a cohort who will be able to work together in the future – thus leveraging the impact of the work of their own organizations.
