To support the first phase of the Equity Health Initiative effort to identify and disseminate best practices for increasing access to health care for immigrants. During Phase One, the project will research best practices and choose local partners in two rural and three urban settings for Phase Two activities. During Phase Two, the project will work with its local partners to expose discriminatory practices that limit immigrants' access to care and educate the public and policymakers about program and policy alternatives for assuring immigrants' health and well being.
