Board Recomended Grants
The Foundation's Board Recommended Grants Program permits Trustees and Associates to recommend grants to the Board for consideration. Generally, these grants are for activities in the communities where Trustees and Associates live and for programs in which they take an active interest.
Board Recommended Grants are included in the list of Foundation grants in the Annual Financial Statements.
Presidential Grants and Staff Grants
The president operates a modest grants program that allows him to make small, expeditious grants in support of the Foundation's mission. Non-program staff also has the authority to award a number of small grants.
