Nathan Cummings Foundation grantee JOIN for Justice will host its first National Summit in New York April 29-30. Over 250 Jewish leaders who work to strengthen the Jewish community and its commitment to creating a just and caring world will come together to articulate and celebrate their shared vision for the Jewish community. Participants from across denominations, generations, and from around the country will sharpen their organizing skills and develop relationships with peers, contributing to the growing Jewish social justice movement. JOIN for Justice will also honor Rabbi Jonah Pesner with the first Tekiah Social Justice Award for his consistent work to rally the community to take action and foster social change.
